How can I request a custom order? What is the process? 
  • Online order. 
  • Walk-in appointment - visit my residential shop. 
ONLINE ORDERS
  1. Whatsapp us at 014 - 9049365 ( Cilla ) / Email / DM on Instagram. 
  2. Send us pictures of your design. 
  3. Once we agree on accepting your request, please pay RM50.00 non-refundable deposit - as formal agreement to the order. 
  4. Give your body measurements. Dresses are ordered by your measurements. If you are unable to get measured at TheChantales residence, I can provide you a list of measurements that need to be taken in order to determine the appropriate size. 
  5. Production process begin ( 7-14 days min.) *depends on sewing orders that we have at the moment.
  6. Balance paid before the dress is collected or couriered including courier fee. 
  7. Updates of your parcel - pictures of your items & tracking numbers.
  8. We sent out your items. 
  9. You received your items. 
WALK-IN APPOINTMENT :

  2. Send us pictures of your design. 
  3. Once we agree on accepting your request, please pay a minimum of RM50 deposit (non-refundable) as formal agreement to the order. (No work will begin unless these conditions are met). 
  4. Once your appointment date is set, you will visit my residential shop, we can discuss some ideas about your desired design and have your body measurement taken. We will go over photos, talk in depth about design ideas, color & fabric. As well as create a sketch of your design. If you have a specific idea in mind, please provide a picture of it. 
  5. Production process begin ( 7-14 days min.) *depends on sewing orders that we have at the moment.
  6. Final fitting on second consultation / until customers are satisfied 
  7. Adjustments and hemming will be done within a few days of fitting and garment will be ready by the end of this week.
  8. Balance is due upon received of garment. 
  9. You're a proud owner of The Chantales clothing. 
** Labor, fabric choice, rush orders and the complexity of the garment are taken into consideration when creating your ideal garment. 
** Please indicate every specific request at the time of order 

First consultation:
  • I take the measurements needed and discuss in detail the design. 
  • Pick fabrics and establish fitting time frames. 
  • Based on the information gathered from this meeting, I will provide the client with an estimated cost of labour and a range of cost for fabric. 
  • At this time, the deposit RM50 (non-refundable) is due. 
Second consultation:
  • Garment will be 70% -80% sewn and ready for final fitting. 
  • Adjustments and hemming will be done within a few days of fitting and garment will be ready by the end of this week. Cost & Pricing 
  • For custom orders, balance is due upon received of garment. 
  • For online custom orders, balance paid before the dress is collected or couriered including courier fee. 
  • Fabric & accessory availability. 
  • Complexity of the garment. 
  • Processing Time 
  • Processing time is to ensure clients receive the highest quality product possible. 
  • These are minimum processing times, more time may be required depending on several factors including but not limited to: 
  • Depends on the season of production (Holiday season like Christmas are very busy & usually require a longer processing time that may differ 1-2 weeks). 
  • 2-3+ weeks for Simple Dresses. 
  • 2-6+ weeks Bridesmaid dresses.
Rush Fees
  • Rush order will be subjected to additional fees : 
  • Custom Gown RM40.00 (non-bridal), 7 day turn over. 
  • Bridesmaid dress RM100.00, 14 day turn over.
  • Rushed orders cannot be cancelled at any time.
  • *Operate by appointment only - only for local clients who are willing to come to the shop. 
  • *Please check with me for rush availability. 
What are your refund/return policies? 
  • Unfortunately because these garments are custom made to fit you and only you.
  • No Refunds. 
  • All sales are final. 

Alterations 
  • *We only make adjustment / alteration orders to our own products. 
  • The Chantales do not offer alteration services after the garment left the premises. 
  • All dresses can be adjusted on the Second Consultation to ensure the perfect fit. 
Delivery
  • Priority Courier: Delivery Confirmation and Insurance NOT Included. 
  • Losses or damages from courier are also not my responsibility.
  • I recommend you order the dress at least 1-2 month before the date to allow time for transportation. 
You must agree to the following before ordering 
  • Please note some custom orders may be subjected to fabric availability. 
  • An additional fee will be added to the dress total, depending on the fabrication of the dress. 
  • Only approved minor changes to orders are allowed be made up to 24 hours after the original order is placed. 
  • No changes may be made to orders after 24 hours.
