Matching cami dress & shorts

After seeing a lot of Me Made May #ootd on Instagram, I realised that I have too much dresses and not enough lounge wear. I really need to work on that and maybe I can join in all the fun next year #mmm18. So this time I change things up and made a cami dress & a matching shorts.
This dress can either be lounge wear for working at home, entertaining potential clients or for a date night. I wear it all the time now. Guilty, guilty, guilty.
Paired it with pastel colored cardigan makes the blue roses pops even more.

To draft this cami dress, just add desired length to it. and you can turn the cami top to knee length dress. Refer to my previous post on how to draft the cami top. All the sewing steps are similar to the cami top too.
Sewing Summary :
Pattern: Self-drafted pattern (pattern hacked from cami top).
Fabric: 1.5 meter of floral satin fabric from my stash.
Notions: Threads.
Alterations: Try different style of necklines next time.
Difficulty: Easy to draft and sew.
Make another one:  Yupe, surely.
Notes: Attaching shoulder straps can be quite tricky.
